Note: Only Working Holiday holders from Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, the UK and the USA are able to work more than 3 months for the same employer

Nationwide placement, family check (if possible interviewed in person and at the family's home OR phone interview & mail contact), possibility to correspond with the family before arrival, airport pickup, mail welcome package with information about the application for a tax (IRD) number, opening of a bank account etc., NZ card, support, travel advise and bookings (upon request), contact network, tips for English studies (upon request), help with extra work (Au Pair New Zealand A)

Demi Pair New Zealand

Placement in greater Wellington, well-screened family (interviewed in person at family's home), airport pick, orientation, placement test, 15 hours of English per week for 12/24 weeks, qualified teachers, student activities (optional), travel advise (optional), internet, coffee & tea facilities, contact network, support, medical and student insurance, loan of a NZ Vodafone simcard

Requirements   

  • Have a Working Holiday Visa and fulfill all requirements
  • Send a copy of the visa + passport
  • Send a police and medical check
  • Complete the applicaton form, write a host family letter and make a photo collage
  • Have a valid health and travel insurance for the duration of the program and send a copy
  • Be min. 19 yo. and max 30
  •  Have finished high school (demi pair) and preferably studied 1 year higher education (au pair); send a copy of this
  • Have 2-3 years childcare experience and provide 3 childcare and 2 character references (no family members or friends)
